Monique's Bio

I can be best described as a geek and nature/animal lover. I own all of the Star Trek movies and enjoy watching them numerous times, my favorite being The Wrath of Khan. I also enjoy Star Wars, although I prefer the older classical movies. I don't like programming, I took a course once in Visual Basic but I hated it, therefore Mike takes care of the programming for this website. I love anything Fantasy, from books to games.

I have a huge passion and love for animals and nature. Taking long walks in the forest, camping, and spotting rare butterflies are a passion of mine. I volunteer at a local animal shelter called Furry Friends, where the rescue cats and help them find new, more compassionate owners.

In my household four pets dwell. There's two dogs, a male norwegian elk hound and a female Pomeranian. Two cats that I rescued live in my home, I saved one from the SPCA and he's a gray tabby named Shadow (I didn't name him), and a brown tabby from Furry Friends. We haven't decided what we're going to name him.
